This batik maxi dress is handmade by skilled Malaysian artisans using a wax-resist technique of fabric dyeing called batik Malaysia. The Diwanie print is a hot wax, stamped motif by our artisans in East Malaysia and is inspired by Arabic calligraphy (diwani).
Material: Hand drawn and hand-painted on viscose.
Design: Our sleeveless batik dress features a V-shaped neckline with pleats at the chest, sewn as A line at the skirt, and includes a knee-high side slit. Complete with a narrow tie belt, it offers versatile styling options at the front, back or side of dress.
