Batik Boutique recently partnered with VISA to create a customized batik Passport Holder and a matching Toiletry Bag in Navy Peony and Grey Peony - a duo set that makes impactful travel gifts for events or corporate gifts. These gifts are handmade and produced by local artisans and took a total of 307 hours of sewing to complete. With this order, VISA was able to provide fair wages for 8 seamstress and 5 batik artists at Batik Boutique, and also supported the production of 40 meters of hand-painted batik.

Our Passport Holder is made of 100% cotton hand-blocked Malaysian batik and it comes with a PU leather snap closure. The Toiletry Bag is made from PU leather lined with 100% cotton hand-blocked Malaysian batik. It includes a side handle for easy carrying and it’s spacious enough to stash all your toiletries. We added personalization with the embossed VISA logo to make it special for the recipients. This corporate order was sewn at our sewing training centre where women work hard daily to provide for their children, while learning new skills and to create a sustainable livelihood.
